All classes meet in Room 2040 unless otherwise posted.
Office Hours are during Period 8. To meet with me during that time, follow the appointments instructions below. Appointments may also be made for any time listed on my schedule above.
To meet with me, students must make an appointment in advance.
Appointments may be made through email only (EMAIL at andjet@d219.org).
If you are emailing with a question, your SUBJECT LINE must be QUESTION (in all caps).
MAKE SURE you have read all the relevant instructions and information on the assignment and website BEFORE emailing to ask a question.
Any email that states that you cannot continue working unless your question is answered first will NOT excuse you from completing the assignment ON TIME.
If you are emailing for an appointment, your SUBJECT LINE must be MEETING (in all caps).
If you are emailing for comments on a paper, your SUBJECT LINE must be COMMENTS (in all caps).
You must send an individual email for each draft for which you are requesting comments.
Students should pick a time to meet when I have office hours (see above schedule) or during a time I am not teaching if my office hours do not correspond to your free time. Students must communicate this time to me in the email. I will either confirm the appointment or decline it (due to previous commitments). At that time, I will either give you an alternate time to meet or will tell you to pick a different time.
DO NOT email me to simply ask if we can meet without an assigned time—I will NOT respond to these emails.
Students may email me at any time, and I will respond within a 24 hour period.
Before you contact me to set up an appointment or ask a question about your student's progress, please make sure you have read through their work on Canvass or Google Docs and the assignment. More information can be found on my Parent FAQ page.
If you do not have a Google account, it is easy and free to get one. Go to www.google.com and click on the “Gmail” in the top right of the screen. Then, click on “Create an account” also in the top right of the screen.
I look forward to talking to you about your student's progress in this class!
