To ensure a perfect evening for all, the following guidelines will be set.
Prom is a WHS-sponsored event, and the safety of all participants is our top priority. All District 214 rules apply. Please refer to the School Handbook for additional information.
Prom is a Junior and Senior event. Students must be a current Junior or Senior to purchase tickets.
WHS students are responsible for communicating all rules and expectations to their guests.
Guest Attendance
Non-WHS guests must complete and submit a Guest Form to the Attendance Office by 3:00 PM on April 2nd.
Students may not purchase tickets for unapproved guests. Guest approval may take up to 72 hours.
Entry & Check-In
All attendees must present their online ticket and a physical photo ID at check-in.
Attendees may not exit and re-enter the event for any reason.
Attendees will not be permitted to return to their vehicles during the event.
Attendees and their belongings may be subject to search upon entry and throughout the evening.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted:
Backpacks or large bags
Glow sticks
Canes or walking sticks (unless medically necessary)
Any items that could be considered a weapon
Conduct Expectations
Slam dancing, shoulder-riding, mosh pits, violent behavior, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
WHS strictly prohibits the possession or use of alcohol or drugs, regardless of age.
Prom is a smoke-free event. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on venue grounds.
Students under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances will be required to leave immediately. Parents/guardians will be contacted, and disciplinary action will be taken. Additional consequences may include suspension or exclusion from graduation ceremonies.
Additional Information
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event. Parking is available on site.
All attendees must leave the venue promptly at 10:30 PM.
