BUS REQUESTS 2025-2026
Do not fill out a bus order form if your field trip has been approved. The APAO office will automatically order you a bus for a field trip if the trip has been approved.
Do not fill out a Square payment request if your field trip has been approved. The APAO office will automatically prepare a Square link for the field trip payment.
Fill out this bus order form for any other bus request - band parade, team building, a club/athletic experience, etc.
GRAND PRAIRIE SCHOOL BUS PRICE SHEET 2025-2026
Daily Flat Rate:
First 3 hours (min): $ 190.96
Per hour after 3 hours: $ 63.65
Cancellations within 2 hrs $ 75.00
D214 School Shuttle Per leg $ 59.48
Yellow buses cannot arrive at a school for a field trip before 8:30am.
Grand Prairie charters scheduled from 7:00am - 9:30am or 2:00pm - 4:00 pm are subject to a $120 surcharge. Please verify with Grand Prairie before scheduling the trip.
Trips that require a bus and/or driver between the hours of 7:00am - 9:00am or 2:00pm - 4:00pm are subject to a $120 prime time surcharge ($90 for special education trips) as a substitute must be found to cover the driver's regular home/school route. This surcharge can be charged twice if a trip takes a driver away from their morning and afternoon routes.
Cancellations:
The following cancellations will incur a penalty:
Weekdays/Weekends: Trips canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a cancelation fee.
To cancel a charter scheduled within the next 24 hours, the bus company must be notified by phone. Dispatch is available from 6:00 AM -7:00 PM. Please always make a note of who you speak to when canceling.
Bus capacity:
Regular: 48 people w/2 in a seat
Large: 51 people w/2 in a seat maximum
XL: 56 people w/2 in a seat maximum
