Our Philosophy 

Little Wildcat Daycare is a unique extension of the Wheeling High School Education Pathway Program.  The daycare provides a lab experience for high school students who wish to teach or learn to work with children.  The students participate in planning, and implementing lessons to the children while in a supervised setting.

The focus of the program for children ages 3-5, is to provide quality child care in a warm, safe, and nurturing environment while focusing on children’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.

We believe in play-based learning and encouraging children to develop through exploration, questioning, and hands-on learning.  We provide age-appropriate activities, while differentiating activity levels according to each individual child.
