HWT teaches letters in a unique order to help teach children the proper formation of letters when writing. The HWT program starts with teaching children letters that consist of straight lines, then moves on to curve lines and then to slanted lines. With combining this approach with every day literacy lessons, phonics exploration and tactile experiences, we have seen great success with our students letter recognition and writing skills.
