My name is Kate Lapetino, and I serve as the Coordinator of Youth and Serving Ministries at Kingswood United Methodist Church, which has locations in Buffalo Grove and Deerfield. In this role, I work with students from 6th through 12th grade, as well as young adults, and oversee a range of outreach ministries including food pantries, Meals on Wheels, PADS, the thrift store, our social justice and diversity initiatives (including Q Fellowship), and local mission teams.
Kingswood is committed to providing a wide range of volunteer opportunities throughout the year, both on-site and in partnership with organizations like Feed My Starving Children and Bernie’s Book Bank. All students and families are welcome, regardless of church membership or faith background.
