A special congratulations to the Grens Class of 2026! As your time with Elk Grove comes to an end, we wanted to share important upcoming information and dates. We want our Senior activities to be fun and enjoyable, but safe. Note that participation in these activities is a privilege. Consequences for violating school rules could result in loss of these privileges, including participating in Prom or the Graduation Ceremony. - EGHS Administration
Senior Breakfast Slideshow - Now through May 18
Add pictures of favorite memories from middle school and high school here: Senior Breakfast Pictures. The slideshow will be played at the senior breakfast on Thursday, May 21.
Prom Ticket Sales - April 10th - April 25th
Tickets will be available to purchase April 10th until 11:59 PM on April 25th at GoFan.co. Cash only tickets can be purchased at the Bookkeeper window. Prom will be held at Venuti’s Italian Restaurant and Banquet Hall in Addison. Visit the prom page for more detailed information.
Post Prom Ticket Sales - April 10th - April 25th
The optional Post Prom event sponsored by the Parent Teacher Council (PTC) will begin immediately after prom and will be held at Main Event in Hoffman Estates. Cost of the ticket is $65.00 per person and includes a coach bus to Main Event, all that Main Event has to offer and a shirt/sweat-ant keepsake from the PTC. Tickets will be available for purchase on GoFan.co April 10th until 11:59 PM April 25th.
World Languages Honors Ceremony - Tuesday, April 14 - 7:00 AM - 8:10 AM
For Juniors and Seniors receiving honors in Spanish, French, Italian and Japanese. Those who will be receiving awards will be notified in advance. Event will take place in the theater. Parents, please park in the front lot near Door 1.
EG Senior Art Show - Tuesday, April 28 - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Senior artists will be displaying their artwork. Meet with the artists and enjoy the art in the EG Cafe.
Senior Breakfast - Ticket Sales - April 30 - May 14
Students will enjoy a buffet at Itasca Country Club. , with time to take pictures, sign year books and more on Thursday, May 21! The cost of the ticket is $25.00 per person and can be purchased on GoFan.co with a card or with cash at the Bookkeeper window. There will be no late sales. Fine Arts Awards - Monday, May 11 - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
A celebration of our Fine Arts programs in the theater. Those who will be receiving awards will be notified in advance.
Obligations Due - Monday, May 11
Seniors with outstanding obligations must pay any fines and/or turn in any books or equipment. Payments can be made through the Infinite Campus Portal or with the Bookkeeper. Graduation tickets may be withheld if student obligations are unpaid.
Cap, Gown, Graduation Tickets, and Senior Yearbook Distribution - Tuesday and Wednesday May 12 & May 13 - 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Pick-up will be in the Foyer Conference Room. Please bring your ID. Nine graduation tickets will be distributed to each family if all obligations are paid. If you need more tickets, contact julie.carlucci@d214.org or 847-718-4415 in the Main Office.
Senior Academic Awards Night - Tuesday, May 12 - 7:30 PM
A celebration of our students receiving awards and they will be notified in advance. The event will take place in the Theatre.
Athletics Awards - Monday, May 18 - 7:00 PM
A celebration for all 2025-2026 athletes. Event will take place in the Main Gym.

All classroom work, books, sporting equipment, and uniforms must be turned in.

Seniors Grades Due and Credits Calculated - Wednesday, May 20
Final grades are submitted by teachers at 8:00 AM. Counselors tabulate final credits for graduation.
Senior BBQ - Wednesday, May 20 - 11 AM - 1 PM
Free entry! Sign yearbooks, hang out with friends, and picnic in the stadium.
Transcript Information - May 21
Students please submit final high school transcript requests (instructions: here) through SchooLinks and send any dual credit (college) credits to future colleges through Parchment. (Note: Students should use a non-D214 email address when establishing a Parchment account.).
Senior Breakfast - Thursday, May 21 - 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Students will enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet at Itasca Country Club (400 E Orchard St, Itasca, IL 60143) with time to take pictures, sign yearbooks, and more! Tickets are on sale for $25.00 starting April 29th through May 13th online or with cash with Bookkeeper. There will be no LATE SALES.
Medallion/ Honors Assembly - Friday, May 22 - 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Senior Medallions, Honors designations will be distributed. This is an all-school assembly. Seniors should arrive at an assembly at 9:30 AM wearing their graduation gown (no cap). Parent/Guardian Arrival 9:45 AM (invitation only).
Graduation Rehearsal - Friday, May 22 - 10:20 AM - 12:20 PM ( or immediately following honors Assembly)
All students are required to attend the rehearsal. Please meet in the Main Gym immediately following the assembly. Seating information will be emailed to students before rehearsal.
Graduation - Sunday, May 24 - 10:00 AM
Graduates should report to Door 11 of the NOW Arena at 8:45 AM. The ceremony will be approximately 90 minutes.
Transcripts will be finalized and sent out in June

iPads - July
Graduating seniors will be allowed to keep iPads (on the condition that all requirements have been met and there are no outstanding obligations). Follow these instructions to unmanage your device starting mid July.
Google Accounts - September
Google accounts will expire on September 1st. Please see these instructions on transferring files and keeping Apple IDs.
