Zometools are geometrical tools used to build. The node (white ball) is surrounded by holes consisting of three different shapes; triangles, rectangles, and pentagons. Struts (the colored building sticks) come in a variety of lengths and colors. Yellow struts all have triangular tips, blue struts all have rectangular tips and red and green struts all have pentagonal tips. Students can build 2 dimensional shapes as well as 3 dimensional shapes using Zometools.
