Properties of Matter

According to the American Chemical Society, "chemistry is the study of matter and the changes it can undergo."  Our goal in honors chemistry is to build a basic understanding of matter, it's properties & behaviors, and just some of the basic changes possible so that students can build on that understanding in future courses.  Chemistry is considered by many as a "central science" because of how integral it is to understanding all of the other sciences.  The resources on this page have been included to help expose you to the basics of matter and changes so that you can build on that throughout the course.
