Pops Concert

WHO: MMS 8th Grade Band Students Only

WHEN: Tuesday,  January 20th,  2025

Student Arrival : 6:15PM

Start Time: 7:00PM
WHERE: Wauconda High School Auditorium, 555 N. Main Street, Wauconda

ATTIRE: All students should wear their black MMS Uniform Polo, solid black pants/skirt/leggings, and solid black dress shoes with black socks.

Chicagoland Jazz Workshop

WHO: Matthews Middle School Jazz Band Students

WHEN: Saturday January 24, 2026

LOCATION: Buffalo Grove High School, 1100 W Dundee Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089

PERFORMANCE LOCATION: Buffalo Grove High School Band Room. 

PERFORMANCE TIME: 4:05PM - 4:50PM in the BGHS Band Room.

ATTIRE: Regular Concert Attire. All students should wear their black MMS Uniform Polo, solid black pants/skirt/leggings, and solid black dress shoes with black socks.

ADMISSION: Spectators should use Door 6, accessible from the parking lot off Dundee Rd. Admission is $15.00 for adults and $10 for seniors and students.

D118 Solo and Ensemble Festival

WHO: Participating MMS band students

WHEN: Saturday,  February 7th,  2026

Student Arrival : 15 minutes before student performance time. 

Start Time:  Dependent on each student's  assigned performance time.
WHERE: Wauconda Middle School, 215 Slocum Lake Rd, Wauconda IL

ATTIRE: All students should wear Formal attire of their choosing. 

D118 Jazz Concert

WHO: MMS Jazz Band Students

WHEN: Friday,  February 20th,  2026

Student Arrival : 6:30PM

Start Time:  7:00PM
WHERE: Wauconda High School Competition Gym, 555 N. Main Street, Wauconda

ATTIRE: All students should wear their black MMS Uniform Polo, solid black pants/skirt/leggings, and solid black dress shoes with black socks.

March Concert

WHO: All MMS Band Students

WHEN: Tuesday,  March 3rd,  2026

Student Arrival : 6:30PM

Start Time: 7:00PM
WHERE: Wauconda High School Auditorium, 555 N. Main Street, Wauconda

Group performances are required for all band students. 

Every member of our ensemble plays an important part - if you are not there, our performance is diminished.

Conflicts must be communicated / resolved as stated in the 2025-2026 Band Handbook.
