Artemis Moon Rocket Launch Delayed
by Robbie Y., 7th grade

NASA has canceled the launch of its Artemis I mission twice. It will launch no earlier than September 27, the agency said in a blog post Monday. The first time it was delayed from a fuel leak. Its liquid hydrogen was leaking through the pipe. The second time had the same outcome. NASA currently has multiple technicians working on the rocket. They could do this in 1969 because there were fewer safety regulations. The United States was in The Cold War, wars make technology spread faster. Another reason is that today there are way more safety regulations. Back then the U.S spent more of the funding on space exploration. Currently, 0.48% of their yearly budget is spent on NASA. Overall, NASA’s Artemis space program is being halted due to many reasons.
