I collaborate with teachers, tutors, our principal, other staff, as well as our students and their families to improve instruction and provide an effective learning environment for our students.
From a very young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I have worked in education for seventeen years. I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education: English, from the University of Northern Colorado and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading. I am currently enrolled in the Principal Licensure program at CSU Global.
I taught mostly 1st & 2nd grade, but also have experience with 3rd and 5th grades. After several years teaching in my own classroom, I decided to become a TLC because of the impact that my instructional coaches, teammates, mentors, and principals had on me, my practices, and my students. My goal is to support, collaborate with, and inspire other educators in the same way my colleagues have and continue to affect me in order to create positive outcomes for all students!
