Items you will need in order to complete the FSA ID and FAFSA:

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is how students get grants and loans through the federal government. The FAFSA application will open on December 1st.
In order to complete it, student and a parent must first create a FSA ID (Username). Create this as soon as possible.

Both the student and parent must create an FSA ID here. If you need to find out which parent should create an ID, use this tool to find out.
On December 1st, the FAFSA will open and we recommend completing it as soon as possible. When the time comes, you will be able to access it here. https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
Wait for an email that includes your Student Aid Index (SAI) which will determine your financial need. Learn more here.
Other Financial Aid:
The College Opportunity Fund (COF), created by the Colorado Legislature, provides a stipend to eligible undergraduate students. The stipend pays a portion of the total in-state tuition when attending a participating college. Some Coronado students have already completed this due to college courses offered. Check to make sure that you are getting this funding.
