Arriving at School

Bus Schedule

Bus routes will be posted here as soon as they are available.

Bicycles/Scooters/Etc.

Any student may ride a bike, skateboard, scooter or use roller blades to travel to and from school; however, students are to walk these on school property. Skateboards, scooters and roller blades are to be stored in student lockers. All bikes are to be secured with a chain and lock in the racks at the south side of the building.

Entering the Building

Each grade level is assigned an entrance door.

8th graders--Johnson Avenue

7th graders--Southeast door (closest to Johnson Avenue, on the field)

6th graders--Southwest door (closest to Thomas Ford Library, on the field)

On normal school days, students will be admitted into the building at 8:10 a.m. Students should plan to arrive at McClure by 8:05 a.m. but not before 8:00 a.m. Students with instruments, sports bags, etc. who need to enter the building early will be allowed into the building at 8:09 am (1 minute before the bell).

Any student arriving AFTER 8:15 a.m. is to report to the office.

Lockers and Backpacks

Each student is assigned a locker with a combination lock and upon entering the building, students should go directly to their locker and deposit their backpack and cell phone in it before going to class. Students found to have a cell phone on them will have it confiscated and taken to the office. See cell phone policy.

Students must keep their locker combinations private, without sharing locker combinations with others, for safety and security reasons. Students are expected to keep lockers clean and orderly and locker organizers are encouraged. Lockers are provided for storage of clothes and school related materials; however, the school administration retains the right to search any locker when health, safety, or general welfare is in question. The decorating of the inside or outside of another student's locker is prohibited.

All Physical Education lockers are assigned by the instructor during P.E. class. Combination locks can be purchased at registration or from the office. These locks are the property of the student.
