Go to the Twin Ports Undergraduate Psychology Conference 2021 event landing page on Airmeet.
Click on the “Enter Event” button.
You may be asked to confirm your details by filling out the attendee card.
Once that is done, you'll enter the Airmeet platform and enter the event. If a Live Session is taking place, you will see the virtual "stage". Otherwise, you will enter into the Social Lounge (see more information below).
Airmeet's Social Lounge serves as a virtual ballroom. As an attendee, you are able to move between tables at your will, and you are able to speak as well as see everyone else who "joins" the same table. The Social Lounge is active before a live session, during session breaks, and after the live session ends. For the TPUP Conference, the "live session" refers to the Welcome Address and Keynote Presentation.
The virtual door to the TPUP Conference will open at 12:30 pm CST on Monday, April 19, 2021. From 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm, you are welcome to enter the event and mingle with other attendees in the Social Lounge. Join any designated "Social Table" (Tables 2-10) by clicking on the "Join" button below the table. Each table allows a maximum of 8 attendees at a given time.
The Social Lounge will "close" at 1:00 pm for the Welcome Address and Keynote Presentation. Once the live session starts, you will see the virtual stage. Once the Keynote Presentation ends, all attendees will return to the Social Lounge.
During the brief break before the Student Poster Session, feel free to join a Social Table, get up to stretch, refill your drink of choice, and use the rest room available to you in your non-virtual space. Student Presenters can use this time to locate and join their assigned table.
Each student presenter or student presenter group will be eagerly waiting at their assigned table (Tables 11 - 29). To view table assignments for each presenter, along with the title and abstract of their research, please visit the Student Presenters page on this website. Feel free to join any of the tables and move from table to table at your leisure. You are encouraged to turn on your video and audio once you've joined a table so that others at the table can see and hear you.
Representatives from participating graduate school programs will be waiting at their assigned table (Tables 30 - 32). To view table assignments for each exhibitor, along with general information about their program, please visit the Graduate School Programs page on this website. Feel free to join any of the tables and move from table to table at your leisure. You are encouraged to turn on your video and audio once you've joined a table so that others at the table can see and hear you.

Should you have any issues joining the event or while you are attending the event, you can reach conference coordinator, Dr. Julie Slowiak, via the TPUP Help! Zoom Room. When the Social Lounge is open and available, you can find her hanging out at the "EVENT HOST" Table (Table 1) when she isn't visiting other tables.
