Sigma Tau Delta is an international English honor society for those who exhibit “high achievement in English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies” (Sigma Tau Delta | About, 2023).
Along with the Duluth chapter, the society contains over 900 others worldwide.

Meet Eleanore Hunt, one of your two Sigma Tau Delta co-presidents. Eleanore is a Writing Studies major, as well as a Film Studies minor. She currently works in the Public Relations department at UMD. Upon graduation Eleanore hopes to continue her creative writing journey. huntx321@umn.edu
Meet Courtney Brunn, the other of your club co-presidents. Courtney is a double major in English and Writing Studies, as well as a Digital Writing, Literature, and Design minor. She is also working towards earning a Creative Writing certificate. Vice President: Ty Pearson
Meet Ty Pearson. Ty is majoring in Writing Studies with a Creative Writing Certificate, as well as minoring in Film Studies and Digital Writing, Literature, and Design. Some of Pearson’s work includes ekphrastic poetry displayed in the Tweed Museum of Art, directing a documentary on the Duluth Armory Arts and Music Center, short fiction, and two profiles published by Perfect Duluth Day. He also works as a guitar teacher at the Amory’s Music Resource Center. pear0759@d.umn.edu
