Hardware Fabrication

Your project may require hardware fabrications. The department maintains and provided some basic enclosures and mounting brackets. If you need to fabricate special hardware parts (custom metal or wooden parts), tools are available from the Physics Dept. Machine Shop in MWAH 31.

The shop houses tools that belong to EE Dept that include a band saw, a drilling machine, a large milling machine, etc.

If you need to create a part using 3D printing, Departmental choice of CAD tool would be "Solidworks". The parts could be ordered online or use the 3D printer in EE Shop after completing the design.
