Graduate students are being accepted for a start date of Fall 2025. Find out how to apply here!
Prospective graduate students applying to UMD's Master of Arts in Psychological Science (MAPS) program and interested in the Learning, Emotion, and Development Lab should indicate their desire to work with Dr. Harms in their application materials. Instructions for applying can be found on the UMD Psychology Department's MAPS webpage. Applicants are encouraged to contact Dr. Harms (harms124@d.umn.edu) with questions and to see if your research interests are a good fit.
Graduate mentees will be heavily involved in lab research projects, conduct their own research, and undergo training in developmental science practices and research ethics. Students in the lab are currently conducting research using survey, behavioral, and experience sampling methods. See the Lab Research tab for some of our current projects!
