This is great year for funding, I got a NSF grant from IOS and a Sinnott Award, Natalie got a The Corliss Knapp Engle Scholarship in Horticulture and Rishika got a BURST fellowship.
We published a in Nature Plants, which had an associated News and Views article. It got covered by Channel 10 news and perfectduluthday. We also had paper on willow species distributions.
I went to an amazing meeting in Copenhagen on phloem and a fantastic workshop on floral evolution organized by Adam Roddy and hosted by the Oak Spring Foundation.
I gave a talk at keynote talk the Minnesota Phenology Network meeting. Check out the coverage in the Star Tribune.
