Sharing community through food
Sharing community through food
Duluth Community Cuisine is a six week course that was created with a simple goal: to make cooking, food, and community dining more affordable and accessible to everyone.
Throughout the course, we focus on the development of practical skills, working with cost-conscious ingredients, and finding ways to prepare nourishing meals without financial barriers, all while building a sense of community within the kitchen itself.
By cooking side by side, sharing tasks, and learning together, community members form connections that extend beyond the classroom. We believe that cooking and eating together is one of the most powerful ways to create lasting relationships and bring people closer.
Looking to the future, we hope to expand this program through deeper and wider community involvement, including working with more local growers, expanding our class locations, and collaborating with more partners in the Duluth area.
By strengthening these connections, we aim to make future classes more accessible while continuing to build a stronger, more connected community.
