Spring 2024 Projects
Projects Overview
The theme for the group project is: social justice. Students were encouraged to think of a number of important issues related to the theme and find compelling areas that are personally meaningful to them. Some of the students reflections on developing technology with those ideas in mind are presented.
For this cohort, the course content was refined according to the Cultural Competence in Computing (3C) Fellows development program. Some topics covered in this class were accessibility, inclusive design, and design justice.

From the start, our goal was to provide an inclusive platform that leveled the playing field for newly admitted students, regardless of their backgrounds or circumstances. This is strongly aligned with the idea of social justice, which pushes for fairness and equity in all parts of society. Bulldog-On-Board guarantees that all students have equal access to resources critical to their academic performance by offering necessary information on housing, food, travel, finances, and other relevant topics."
