QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
HOW LONG DOES THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS TAKE?
On average, our process takes 1 month. Of course, depending on your availability, it could be faster or slower.
WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN EACH STAGE?
After each stage, our recruiter will take the time to share concrete feedback with you. If we decide to move forward together in the process, they will ask for your next available dates and pass them on to the hiring teams. You’ll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours to confirm the next step.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I NEED TO CANCEL AN INTERVIEW?
Unexpected events can happen to anyone. However, try to avoid rescheduling an interview unless absolutely necessary.
To reschedule or cancel, contact the person who scheduled the interview by replying to their email as soon as possible.
CAN I ADDRESS EVERYONE I MEET INFORMALLY?
Yes, and it’s even expected 🙂 At D-EDGE, everyone addresses each other informally.
IN WHAT LANGUAGE WILL THE INTERVIEWS BE CONDUCTED?
If you are applying in France all interviews will be conducted in French but during your initial conversation with our recruiter, your English level will be assessed, and you will converse in English for a few minutes.
If you are applying out of France, the interview will be conducted mostly in English and in the native language of the country you are applying for.
WHAT IS THE REMOTE WORK POLICY FOR THIS POSITION?
D-EDGE promotes a flexible and autonomous work environment:
In the countries in which we have physical offices, the remote policy is 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely.
In the countries in which we do not have physical offices, you will be in full remote.
During the “ramp-up” phase, we expect our newcomers to come to the office regularly. In general, it is recommended to come to the office 3 days a week, especially in the beginning.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
At D-EDGE, we don’t expect any specific dress code. It’s important to feel comfortable, be yourself, and show mutual respect.
WHAT IS THE IDEAL START DATE?
We’d like you to start as soon as possible 🙂 Of course, we understand that you may have a notice period to respect. It’s also important that you feel rested before joining us. We organise an onboarding session every 2 weeks.
