Clearwater High School is proud to announce that seniors Haylee Esser and Lane Pinkley are CHS Students of the Month. Haylee Esser is the daughter of Fred and Stacie Esser. While in school, Haylee has been an active member of Beta, FCCLA, NHS, FBLA, History Club, and Art Club, She has also been involved in cross country, track and field, and basketball. Haylee enjoys watching movies, working out, hiking, and cooking during her free time. After high school, Haylee plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University and study historic preservation. Upon graduation, she will either begin a career in archaeology or apply to the MIzzou law program and pursue a career in politics. Lane Pinkley is the son of Holly and Todd Pinkley. As a high school student, Lane has participated in basketball, baseball, golf, and cross country. He has also been involved in Beta Club, NHS, and Student Council. In his free time, Laney enjoys playing sports and listening to music. After graduation, Lane plans to attend Three Rivers College for two years and then continue his education to become a physical therapist.
Clearwater High School is proud to announce that seniors Makinlee Keister and Landon Towe are February students of the month. Makinlee Keister is the daughter of Matthew and Maegan Keister. While in high school, Makinlee has been involved in NHS, Beta, FCA, FCCLA, Student Council, yearbook, and Pep Club. Additionally, she has played several sports including basketball, volleyball, softball, and cross country. In her free time, Makinlee enjoys playing sports, hunting with her dad and grandpa, and spending time with family and friends. After high school, Makinlee will attend college and play softball with the goal of going to pre-dental school. Landon Towe is the son of Brian and Lisa Towe. Landon has played basketball all four years of high school and has ran cross-country and track in grades 11 and 12. In high school, Landon has been involved in BETA, NHS, and Student Government. In 9th, 10th, and 12th grade, Landon served as treasurer of his graduating class and was class vice-president in 11th grade. For the past two years, Landon has also served as NHS vice-president. As a rising junior, Landon attended Missouri Scholars Academy (MSA). MSA is a three-week residential program on the campus of Mizzou for academically gifted students in Missouri. That summer, Landon also attended the Kinder Institute of Constitutional Democracy Academy at Mizzou. This past summer, Landon attended the High School Summer Scholars Program at WashU in St. Louis where he studied philosophy and anthropology through undergraduate coursework. As a Senior, Landon was selected to participate in two fly-in programs. In September, Landon flew to Swarthmore College in Philadelphia, PA to participate in the Discover Swarthmore Program. In October, Landon was one of twenty-five students selected nationally to participate in the STARS Fly-In program at Columbia University in New York City. In his free time, Landon enjoys hiking, running, basketball, writing, and spending time with friends and family. After High School, Landon will be attending Columbia University in NYC. At Columbia, Landon will work towards a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Writing/Journalism. After which he will pursue a law degree to work within Environmental Law and Policy.
Clearwater High School is proud to announce that seniors Alexa Glover and Kloe L’Heureux are January students of the month. Alexa Glover has been involved in drama throughout high school and also participated in band and choir in earlier years. She enjoys spending time in nature, reading, watching shows and movies, and working. After high school, Alexa plans to enter the workforce. Kloe L’Heureux is the daughter of Beth and Jeremiah L’Heuruex. During high school, Kloe has been active in FFA and serves as the sentinel this year. Also this year, Kloe had two opportunities to represent the CHS FFA chapter at the MU Youth Leadership Academy and Life Science Quest held by Mizzou. She also competed at the state level in FFA for Livestock Evaluation and Dairy Evaluation. Kloe played high school volleyball all four years and also played club volleyball for Bluff Impact for four years. Additionally, she has been involved in FCCLA, FBLA, FCA, Interact, Pep Club, NHS, and Teach Ag on the Move. Kloe placed in Fiber Arts at the state level and competed every year at the National Beta Convention. This past year, she competed in the FCCLA fashion construction at the state level. She is also part of Three Rivers NHS and Phi Theta Kappa. When Kloe is not at school, she loves to go hunting with her dad, being outdoors, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. Kloe graduated from CHS in December and is currently attending Three Rivers where she will graduate this spring with her Associates of Arts in Agriculture. In the fall, Kloe will then attend the University of Missouri-Columbia to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science after which she will continue her education to specialize in animal genetics.
Clearwater High School is proud to announce that seniors Makia Luke and Lauren Wheelehon are December students of the month. Makia is the daughter of Kimberly and Brandon Luke. During high school, Makia has been an active member of FFA, serving as vice president of the chapter this year. Additionally, Makia has been involved in FBLA, FCCLA, NHS, Beta, History Club, Pep Club, and Interact. At the National Beta Convention, she has placed every year in the recyclable art category. Makia enjoys reading and spending time with her family and animals. After high school, she plans to attend Arkansas State University to pursue a career in elementary education. Lauren Wheelehon is the daughter of Jessica Hughes and Brent Wheelehon. Lauren has played volleyball for all four years of high school. She has been involved in FFA, Beta, FCCLA, FCA, FBLA, NHS, Interact, and History Club. When not at school, Lauren enjoys the great outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, rescuing animals, and helping out on the farm. After high school, Lauren plans to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. She will continue her schooling to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine for both small and large animals.

Clearwater High School is proud to announce that senior Cambria Eaton is the November Student of the Month. Cambria is the daughter of Anna and Matthew Eaton.
Cambria describes herself as a workaholic. If she’s not at school she is working! She says it gives her peace of mind. Cambria additionally enjoys spending time with her family and friends because there is never a dull moment around them!
Her future plans include going to nursing school. Cambria plans on getting her LPN and following the bridge program to become an RN. Her ultimate career goal is to work in pediatrics and help with little babies.

Alexandra is the daughter of Tera Plummer and the late Eric Plummer, Sr. As a high schooler, Alexandra has been a member of the FBLA, Beta Club, FCCLA, and Pep Club. She has also spent three years in NHS and FCA and two years as a member of FFA. Alexandra has also been a member of the Yearbook staff for three years and loves it! She enjoys spending time outdoors walking, hiking, biking and exploring new places in nature. She loves spending time with her family and boyfriend and cherishes the time spent with them. She also loves shopping and going to the gym in her free time. Her future plans include attending a four year University to become a nurse and progress her studies to become a Physician's Assistant. She loves helping others and has always wanted to be in the medical field.
Conner is the son of Jerrod and Kim Roberts. Throughout high school Conner has been involved in Beta Club, FFA , Cross Country, and is a member of the golf team. Currently Conner is serving as the Historian in FFA. Conner's interests and hobbies are playing golf, hunting and fishing, and welding. His future plans are to attend TRC and get a welding certificate to become a welder.
Nattaly is the daughter of Desiree Grounds. As a high schooler, Nattaly has been a cheerleader and a member of the FCCLA, NHS, and FFA Clubs. She enjoys spending time reading, cheering, and hanging out with her friends. Her future plans include attending a four year University to become a lawyer.
Trevor is the son of James Clements and Connie Clements. As a high schooler, Trevor has been involved in Beta and FFA Clubs. Additionally, Trevor is a member of the Golf Team. He enjoys spending time playing golf and learning new things. Some of Trevor's other favorite pass times are watching movies and spending time with his friends and family. His future plans include attending TRC to pursue a degree in education, specifically a high school math teacher!
