At KS4 we have two GCSE courses: Creative iMedia (Optional) and GCSE Computer Science (Optional).
The Difference:
The main difference is that core computing is to do with using software to solve problems, while Computer Science is about writing the software code and designing the software yourself.
This enables students to:
● continue their studies in Computing, Digital Literacy and IT
● acquire skills that can be applied to almost every job
