Room Reps first and foremost are a link between the teacher and caregivers in each class; they send reminders about class and school-wide events, like Swift Drop-off sign-ups, Coffee Socials, and fundraisers, and help find answers to caregiver questions.
Room Reps also help create a sense of community among the families in their classroom by creating WhatsApp chats and planning class playdates.
Ideally, each class will have 2-3 room reps, dividing the roles between the Teller Rep (sending out reminders and getting answers to caregiver questions), the Asker Rep (recruiting and organizing caregiver volunteers for Swift Drop-off, Trunk or Treat, the Play-a-thon, etc.)
