Hello, I’m Chantal, a language trainer and the founder of Caring Words. I have been helping people learn and use languages since 2019.
My work draws on experience in language teaching, language schools, translation, writing and leadership. What does that mean for you? We focus on your goals through clear explanations, practical exercises and honest feedback.
Why Caring Words?
Language helps us ask questions, express our ideas and understand one another. For me, careful listening and clear explanations therefore go hand in hand.
I want you to feel able to ask questions and try new things. Mistakes are an opportunity to keep learning. Together we consider what is already working and where you need support. I take different starting points and perspectives seriously, including when choosing our examples and words.

Personally and attentively
I listen and take seriously what you want to achieve with language. Your prior knowledge, interests and pace are part of the process. You can ask questions, voice uncertainties and try something new.
Structured and goal-oriented
We clarify your goal at the outset and plan the next steps. You receive clear explanations and specific feedback. Together we identify what is going well and what to practise further. When working with texts, we also discuss the audience, purpose and tone.
Understand and use language yourself
I explain how language works in practical terms. Then you become active: we practise conversations, formulate sentences or work through situations from your everyday life, school or workplace. We revisit new language and use it in different contexts.

You become actively involved: we practise conversations, write texts and work on situations from your everyday life, school or workplace. We use new language in different contexts. Mistakes help us see what to work on next.
Feedback that helps you progress

My background — and what it means for you
Languages & education
My studies in Nice and Regensburg combined languages, culture and law. I also gained experience in translation studies in Strasbourg and Mainz and through a distance-learning programme in education. These perspectives help me explain language clearly and in ways that fit different learning paths, your prior knowledge and your goals.
Teaching & language schools
My professional experience includes language courses, intercultural training, teaching pupils in grades 8–13 and working as a project manager at a language school. I founded Caring Words in 2019. You benefit from clear learning steps, suitable exercises and thoughtful course planning.
Translation & content
I worked for one year as a translator and for one year as a content manager. These roles sharpened my awareness of meaning, tone and audience. For your texts, this means clear messages and carefully chosen formulations that fit both your purpose and the people you want to reach.
Leadership & communication
Three years of leadership experience have taught me the value of listening, clear agreements and an appropriate tone at work. For an application, a presentation or a challenging conversation, we practise specific situations and phrases so that you can express your ideas clearly and respond to the person you are speaking with.
A little something personal
You may have noticed in my photos that I wear different glasses. I simply love glasses — they are as much a part of my personality as my enthusiasm for languages.
