SAMRai

In the self-guided SAMRai course, participants learn how to use various technology strategies to inspire student creativity and demonstration of knowledge. Teachers, administrators, and classified staff are trained in several strategies that incorporate Mishra & Koehler's TPACK Framework, Dr. Ruben Puentedura’s SAMR Model of technology integration, Webb's Depth of Knowledge, and a range of pedagogical practices that can be used to support these frameworks. Each module of the SAMRai cohort is dedicated to one of the phases in each model. At the conclusion of the 5 modules, participants will have learned about the Substitution, Modification, Augmentation and Redefinition level of the SAMR Model, and how technology at these integrations can be coupled with other educational frameworks to provide a blended approach to instruction.
