CCGI is a nonprofit that works with school districts throughout California to ensure that all high school seniors in California graduate with clear postsecondary goals.
As part of this effort, CCGI manages the state of California’s college and career planning platform, CaliforniaColleges.edu. This interactive web-based platform offers HHS students, families, and educators a single access point for college and career preparation, applications, planning tools, and information to help plan for life after high school.
Career assessments help students connect their personal preferences, interests, and skills to their career goals. (Interest Profiler, Multiple Intelligences, Do What You Are)

Students can use the Career Search Tool to explore careers that match their preferences.
Students can use the Major Search Tool to explore majors related to their interests, and then see which colleges offer those majors.
Students can use the College Search Tool to research and compare colleges and find the best fit.
Students can use the Academic Planner to plan their future coursework, review their completed courses and grades, and ensure they're on track to achieve their college and career goals.
The CSU and UC Eligibility Tools allow students to quickly track their progress toward meeting “a-g” requirements.
Students’ college and career planning activity is saved in a personalized digital portfolio called My Plan.
Students can launch CCC, CSU, or FAFSA applications from within their accounts and track submissions. If students launch their applications through CCGI, their academic history will be merged and they won’t have to manually enter all their classes. How convenient!
