Restorative Practices

Restorative practice is a framework that promotes community. It focuses on shared values and a collaborative approach that focuses on inclusivity.  At Williston Central School we use community circles to strengthen relationships and create a sense of shared purpose. We work on understanding peers, developing greater empathy and resolving conflicts. This approach allows us work through conflicts with an emphasis on repairing relationships and harm done within the community.
