I am looking forward to seeing how the rising 8th graders build on the amazing work they did last year. I am also anxious to see how the rising 7th graders react and engage with new, more complex math. I have been a Montessori teacher, a homeschooler, and a homesteader. As a lifelong learner, I hope to encourage curiosity and flexibility as the CCS middle schoolers dive into another year of math.

I’m excited to be teaching humanities to primarily seventh graders this year, engaging them in history, reading, and writing. I’m a big sports fan and our family, which includes a 12th grader and a 10th grader at Mt Abe, love the outdoors. You’ll often find the four of us at local swimming spots in the summer. Looking forward to connecting with all of you and kicking off a great year!

I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade science this year. I will be a core teacher, as well as an advisor. My passions lie in wildlife biology, birding, hiking, and of course, engaging students in science and STEM.

I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade French this year, and am excited to help students make personal, practical connections with the language. In my spare time I love to be outside: running, swimming, playing soccer, and spending time with loved ones and family.

I'm excited to begin my 15th year at CCS and will serve as both the Special Educator and an advisor for 7th and 8th grade! I have two daughters in college, that I am proud of and miss, a perfect labradoodle named Sweetie, and a crazy bernadoodle -aussie named Goose. I love to ski, be on the lake, ride horses, travel, and spend time with middle schoolers. One of the best decisions I ever made was to become a Special Educator and Iook forward to another year of doing what I love!
