Taking action is a key part of citizenship and becoming a contributing member of 21st century society. CHOOSE 1 of the following options and complete the work outlined in the description. When finished, please check in with your SSAP teacher.

- Click on the What Can We Do to Help ? website. Identify 2-3 strategies that you can use to help reduce our impact on the environment.
- When you have reviewed your results, write a properly formatted email to your SSAP teacher (Salutation, Body, Closing) about your strategies, why it is important, and how your completion of the goal makes a difference.

- Click on the OUR CLIMATE, OUR FUTURE website. Write a story about how climate change is impacting Williston or Vermont.
- POST a version of the story on your committee's SSAP site.

Based on your understanding of the issues related to climate change, your committee, and your personal interests, please identify three organizations that are working on the issue.
- Local: identify a local organization that is currently working on the issue that you have identified. Where are they located? What is their mission? Explore their website or online information to get a better sense of the work they are completing.
- Regional: find an organization in New England that continues to work on your environmental issue. What work are they doing and why is it important? Who does their work impact? Do you have any way of rating this organization?
- National: find a national organization that is addressing your issue. Where are they located and what have they accomplished? How many years have they been working on the problem? Do they donate to specific politicians or political parties?
Presentation of Findings
- Create a Google slideshow of at least five slides.

- 3 Slides -- One for each organization that identifies organization, mission, and local actions.
- Resources
- Add a resources slides that identifies, in correctly formatted MLA style, the resources you used for your research.
