Field Hockey

Field Hockey is a Fall Sport at Shelburne Community School. It is open to all girls in grades 5th - 8th. We have a no-cut policy for field hockey. We do expect that all students who come out for the field hockey teams understand that their selection to either A or B teams and playing time will be dictated by the coaching staff's observation of the player's skill level, work ethic, and desire to be a contributing member of the team.

Start Date: August 31st

Time: M, T, Th, F from 3 - 4:30PM

Meeting Place: Shelburne Athletic Club front field

Equipment needed to attend practice:

• Activewear - such as shorts and a t-shirt as well as cleats (or at a minimum some running shoes).

• Safety equipment - Mouth guard, shin pads, eye protection (optional). We have some equipment that students may borrow, however, it is helpful to have your own.

• Water bottle - please make sure your athlete's name is on this water bottle.
