Macroinvertebrates 

Day 2

Today was a very sunny bright day, I brought my dogs along for the trip and they loved it they were exploring everything. When I was trying to collect the macroinvertebrates even after trying to collect them for over 10 trials I only got 31 macroinvertebrates. I think this is because of the storm last Thursday when the road where the stream was got washed out, I can see some visible habitat changes and shifts in the steam flow from this change, also I think that because of the fast and overflowing water stream the macroinvertebrates where swept away and are just starting to make their way back into the habitat. But other than that the other tests went well. The PH was 6.9 today A big change down from yesterday's 7.5 I wonder if this has to do with the stream getting back to its regular state. The water temperature was down from 71.5 to 70.6 degrees Fahrenheit I think this was because of the time of day I went to the stream and the temperature outside. And the conductivity was 434.
