ABOUT MRS. CHRISTIE
Hello! My name is Courtney Christie & I am proud to start my fourth year at Hinesburg Community School; I will be entering my fifth year as a teacher overall.
I am from Canaan, VT & I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education (K-12) from Plymouth State University. Throughout college & since I was a child, I have primarily played the trumpet & piano.
I now live in Shelburne, VT with my husband & our cat named, Aria. Aside from my passion for music, I enjoy reading, baking sourdough, hiking, & spending time with my family & friends.
I look forward to another GREAT school year!
ABOUT MR. GRIBNAU | "MR. G"
My name is Chris Gribnau and I'm excited to begin my first year teaching instrumental music at Hinesburg Community School. I've been teaching public school music since 2004.
I was raised in Shelburne, Vermont and studied trumpet at the University of Vermont (B.S.) and Ithaca College (M.M.). You'll find me playing the trumpet and the fiddle in many local groups.
I live in Charlotte, VT with my wife, daughter and Comet the wonder cat. When not playing or teaching music you'll find me in my kayak, camping or trying to make overly complicated food over a campfire.
