Champlain Valley Union High School's thriving Theater Program is excited to present Monty Python's SPAMALOT November 13-15, 2026. This hilariously irreverent spoof of Arthurian legends won a Best Musical Tony Award in 2005 and is now coming to Hinesburg to entertain you with Grail-force laughter, vibrant dancing, and clever tunes, including the signature song “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.” Created by John Du Prez and Eric Idle, the show is based on the much-loved 1975 satire movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. There are nutty knights, a mighty diva, flatulent Frenchmen, singing and dancing showgirls, a bloodthirsty bunny, plenty of puns, and many more amusements. The show's irreverent humor pokes fun at numerous religious and social establishments--including Broadway--with great wit and love.
