HAMILTON GUEST ARTIST

Ridgeline HS Band Boosters are proud to partner with a special donor who has made it possible for us to host Victoria Ann Scoverns currently starring as Eliza in the US Touring Production of Hamilton!  Victoria will host a 90 minute session that includes an interactive workshop for students to experience the creative process through the eyes of a professional actor and singer.  She will also host a Q & A for students to inquire about his story as it came to be, and tips and strategies for any young person entering the world for ANY career field.  Students need NO EXPERIENCE to join us.  Ridgeline HS students from any corner are welcome!

Thank you our amazing EMERALD level donor for this amazing gift!

NEMEA SOLO/ENSEMBLE

Northeast Music Educators Association / WIAA State Qualifier

Saturday, January 29th @ Cheney High School

ALL DAY students have individual/small group schedules

Orchestra and Band students have elected to participate in this yearly event that features students in small groups or as soloists.  The highlight of their month long journey (sometimes longer), is the performance of their work for an adjudicator who has one bid in each category to the State Championships at CWU in April.

While it is impossible to forecast the competition, students learn along the way the value of working together: organization, team work, creativity, problem solving, listening.  These tools are part of the creative process and are the "soft skills" our community of employers are now expressing value over all things in their communities.

The best part is all of the work is by student-leadership.  The teacher is intentionally hands-off and only helps when circumstances arrive to have a professional ear solve things.  We are really proud of the students, and their groups.  Here are details for the trip.

BELIEVE: Holiday Celebration Concert

Band and Orchestra students will put on a doubleheader of two identical performances so we can assure there is enough seating for everyone.  PLEASE reserve general admission for the show you would like to attend by clicking the following link.  Read all the instructions.  Each show is approximately, one hour.
