Ridgeline Eyas Concert Orchestra

The Ridgeline HS Eyas Concert Orchestra is our largest string ensemble at RHS. It is open to all interested students, and has no audition to get in. The Ridgeline Eyas Concert Orchestra represents the heart of our strings program. It is named for the young hawk who is taken from the nest for elite training in falconry. Students will focus on training several new elements of music-making. Appropriate age-level fundamentals will be established, as well as exploring new ensemble concepts that help students pursue the most exciting and beautiful pieces of literature available to their appropriate skills.

We will share our music at various concerts throughout the year, including four campus concerts, and numerous other outreach opportunities for students to perform.

We will certainly enrich this page with more details as our school year develops. This is going to be a fantastic music-making opportunity for all Falcons to feel welcome in and to create a new, and exciting community. Welcome to the Ridgeline HS Eyas Concert Orchestra!

We encourage all of our string students to participate in this free day camp. When the world gets a little closer to normal again, we hope to offer it as an overnight camp but this year we are running it as a day-camp.

DATE Monday, August 16th - Wednesday, August 18th

TIME 9:00am - 3:00pm

MB students are encouraged to participate at string camp. Our only request is that on Wednesday the 18th, you start with MB camp at 9am and then just get to string camp an hour late. We have a camp orientation at RHS for Regiment from 9am - 10am, Wednesday August 18th. Colorguard and Percussion, we will reach out to you about other possible shared camp schedules.

String Camp is not required, we encourage it as a way to dust off the summer dust. Grow some skills, meet and make new friends. Have fun again!
