8th History

In 8th Grade History we expand on historical thinking and inquiry to further develop critical thinking skills. The Focus of the year is history of the Americas from 1500 to the US Reconstruction Era. We have a class set of textbooks, and the students will have online access to the book at www.TeachTCI.com. This texts covers US History. A full table of contents can be found at TeachTCI’s website. We also use Student News daily in order to enhance student understanding and connect past event to the present. We will will be participating in National History Day.
