STEAM Projects

The STEAM Rubric below will be used for evaluating submissions, but it is still under development. If students have a cross-disciplinary project they think deserves to be published, they can contact Mr. Floreck at mfloreck@cvschools.org.

Project Ideas:

• Design and communicate a safe and efficient visitation protocol for use during a pandemic: the first step needed is to identify the engineering constraints for this protocol.
• Produce a video that tells the story of the 2019-2020 competition season (e.g. Science Fair, Science Olympiad).
• Construct a Google Site that guides elementary school students through the process of completing a science fair project: The first step required is to demonstrate an understanding of the current science fairs in the elementary schools of your district.
• Clarify the manner by which student work will be submitted, reviewed and possibly published on STEAMconnect.
