Summer Training
A detailed plan will be shared at the above meetings. Our summer training plan starts the first week of June with athletes easing back in to running on their own. We will meet for the first time on Wednesday, June 10th 6:00-7:30PM @ CVHS Track. The full list of dates is on the Season calendar. Bring a water bottle.
Tryout Information
Prior to tryouts, athletes need to have a completed physical in RankOne and it must be approved by the athletic trainers. Athletes also need to complete this team information sheet.
Monday, August 17th. 3:25-5:00PM. Tryouts @ CVHS Track. There is no other tryout date and we will not accept athletes cut from other fall sports. Athletes trying out will be timed in a 2 mile run around the CVHS campus. A max of 20 girls running 18 minutes or faster and a max of 20 boys running 16 minutes or faster will make the team.
Athletes making the team are expected to attend practice everyday starting on Tuesday, August 18th at 3:25PM. Saying you don't have a ride for the first 2 weeks of the season is not an excused absence. Missing regularly during the season for other activities also will not be excused.
