Daily 40% (Warm-ups, Notes, homework, quizzes, daily assignments)
Major 45% (Test, lab reports, projects, extensive in class assignments)
CBA 15% (Cumulative test, Semester exam)
Complete assignments in class or prior to the start of next class unless different instruction is given
Get notebook, references, and calculator if necessary and begin working on daily warm – up
Class will be dismissed when the classroom is returned to initial conditions by the instructor
Tutorials
My tutorials will be EVERY MONDAY, TUESDAY, and THURSDAY from 2:35 PM – 3:00 PM
If further assistance is required, the student/parent may schedule an appointment with me for after school as needed no later than 3:00 PM
When home enrichment is assigned, it is due the following (A/B) day. If you are absent the day a home enrichment assignment is due, it is due via Google Classroom on the due date.
ALL home enrichment is due before warm-ups.
It is your responsibility to turn in assignments in the designated tray for your class period (hard copy) or Google Classroom (digitally).
Failure to turn it in will result in a grade 1 point less than the lowest class score on the assessment or a grade of 70% with submission of a completed explanation form (max. 3); assignments beyond 1 week late will NOT be accepted for evaluation.
Late work will be accepted no more than one week past the original issue date with the highest grade eligible to be received of 70. If you do not turn in your assignment then the grade will 1 point less than the lowest class score on the assessment or a grade of 70% with submission of a completed explanation form (max. 3).
Retesting can take place during tutorials or digitally in the event that a score below 70 % is achieved or an unexcused absence occurs. Retest must be taken or completed no later than two (2) class periods from the initial date of the exam with the highest possible grade attainable being 70 %.
