2026 ISEF Rules and Forms New for 2026 - AI Integrity Guidelines and Rules
NEW for 2026! - All students who are enrolled in public, private, or home-schooled within our ISEF service region (Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, and the City of Lynchburg) are eligible to compete in our regional fair once they are recommended or advanced to regionals based on a local science fair. Depending on the school or division, there is a registration fee per division or school. All students and teacher sponsors will create accounts with Labrat. The Labrat platform will guide students and teachers through the ISEF rules, pre-approvals, and signatures. Please take a look at the information about Labrat here.
SRC first review of project forms and or required permissions - Oct. 1, 2025 - January 31, 2026. The reviews are conducted through the Labrat platform.

Teachers - RSVP if you have students working on projects so we can support them and provide your Google Drive link. Teachers will receive the registration link for students by February 1st. Registration will open from February 2, 2026 - February 18, 2026.

March 14, 2026 - In-person judging will be at Central Virginia Community College in Merritt Hall. This year, it is a one-day event.
CVRSF Final Categories for Judging will be posted once registration is complete.
Tentative Schedule:
Project Set-up starting at 10:00 a.m. The Set-up room will open at 9:45 a.m. The awards ceremony will be held at CVCC for participants at 3:30.
Students will be judged in two groups starting at 10:30 a.m.
Students are requested to wear business professional or business casual attire for judging.
