About Ms. Stickel :

Hello Condors! I am excited to be starting my 6th year at Canyon Middle School. I began teaching in 2008, and have taught in Richmond, El Cerrito and Berkeley. I've previously taught grades 5, 6, 7, and 8, and hold single subject credentials in both History and English Language Arts. I earned my undergraduate degree in History from UCLA, and continued my education in the teaching credential program at Cal State East Bay. I also hold a Master's Degree in Teaching Leadership from Saint Mary's College.

At school, I run the WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) program with Mrs. Fikse, so you'll see me wearing my green shirt often. I hope that you'll consider being a WEB leader when you become an 8th grader!

Outside of school I enjoy running, riding my bike, hiking, camping, and traveling. Yosemite National Park is one of my favorite places to go.
