About the Teacher

My name is Traci Franco and I am excited to begin my eighth year at Stanton Elementary as your child’s third grade teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in American Sign Language from California State University Hayward; and earned a Multiple Subject teaching credential from Saint Mary’s College in 1995. I love teaching and coming up with creative ways to make learning fun and meaningful for all my students.

When I’m not teaching or thinking about teaching, I love ice hockey (especially the San Jose Sharks), reading, traveling and spending time with my family and three dogs. I have a daughter that is a senior at San Jose State University and a son that is in his second year of college. My husband and I love to be on our boat, at the beach, taking long drives, watching movies or; at the ice rink watching our beloved Sharks.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you. As your teacher, I have high expectations of you. I expect you to come to school every day with a positive attitude and ready to put forth your best effort. In return, I will come to school every day with a positive attitude and ready to put forth my best effort. We will be learning lots of things this year; both exciting and challenging. I know you will succeed by all of us putting in 100%. Welcome to 3rd Grade!
