What do I do if I miss a class?

I'd like an extension. What do I do?

All requests for an extension must come from the student. We will have a brief conversation about why you need/want extra time. All requests must happen BEFORE the work is due. 😄

When does Ms. Brown have office hours?

Because Canyon has RTI time built into our schedule, office hours are by appointment only. You can always email Ms. Brown to request additional help or a one-to-one video chat. It's that easy!

Remember, even if you don't get assigned my RTI, you can ALWAYS ask your RTI teacher if you can come to my RTI session to finish your science work. Just have that teacher send me an email so I know to expect you. Easy!

How do I contact Ms. Brown?

My email is bbrown@cv.k12.ca.us. Remember to read the "Communication Protocol" before you send your email. You will need to use complete sentences too!

Watch this video for tips on how to send your email.

I can't access one of the online sites or documents. It says I need permission or don't have access. What do I do?

Make sure that you are using your school email account and are using Chrome. You most likely will need to login with Google unless you were given a special code.

Parents: you may need to have your student's sign in information so you can have access to some of the resources.

How do I find out what assignments I need to do?

Where will I find my current grade or a grade for an assignment?

All grades are posted in AERIES. Google Classroom is for information and tracking assignments only. 👍🏽

Does Ms. Brown offer extra credit?

Unfortunately, no. If you need help with the content, it's important that you come to RTI to get help.
