After deciding on a portable Mahjong Shuffler, we checked patent and online sources to see if there were any similar designs.
The most common solution was the tile shuffling table, pictured to the left. This solution is great inspiration, but did not fulfil our requirements because it is too expensive and large.
The patents we found were:
(US 20200030687 A1) - A mahjong tile shuffler, used specifically to prevent cheating
(US 20220395743 A1) - A card shuffling system
