Power Math is one of the 6th grade Exploratory wheel classes.  Students take a different exploratory each quarter. In Power Math, we explore math ideas in creative ways and work to develop a positive mindset and relationship with math.  We play games, do puzzles, look for patterns and new ways of seeing.    Power Math is not a second math class or an accelerated or a support class.  

Grading is "Pass/Fail." I provide all needed supplies (although some students like to bring their own colored pens/pencils) and participation during class activities is the requirement for passing.

In Power Math, we believe having a Growth Mindset is the best way to learn anything! 📈
