THE CVVA

What is the CVVA?

The Castro Valley Virtual Academy-Elementary is CVUSD's 100% virtual elementary option, operating independently from other Elementary campuses. Its goal is to create an experience that mirrors in-person instruction as closely as possible while allowing families to continue in distance learning throughout the 2021-22 school year. CVVA's students and teachers utilize CVUSD elementary curriculum and work closely with Specialist Teachers (Intervention, PE, Science, counselor, etc..) to create an academically rigorous, psychologically safe, and motivating student experience.
