Dear Room 2 family,

I would love to officially introduce myself to you, my new Room 2 family. This is my 24th year teaching and I am so proud to say I've done them all at CVE! In that time I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade and 1st/2nd grade combos but kindergarten holds a special place in my heart. No matter the grade I have realized that I absolutely LOVE this work and my students! 

I firmly believe that an education that is meaningful challenges students to experience firsthand the joy of learning, attain their personal best, actively solve problems and contribute positively and productively to the world in which they live! 

My life at home is just as busy as a kindergarten classroom! I have been married since 1999 and my husband, Angelo and I have two amazing daughters, Marina and Nikoletta. We are so proud that both of our daughters will be attending their dream colleges this fall but a little sad that they will both be moving away from home for the first time. Thank goodness our family welcomed an adorable little labradoodle into our home and into our hearts in 2018. Our little Meli was the perfect addition to our family and is treated like the baby angel she is! 

I am so excited for the school year to begin and can’t wait to meet you all and learn about you and your families!
