Family Partnership Letter - Part 2
"We are continuing this critical SEL and Anti-Bias instruction throughout the school year, and we are approaching some deeper level, age-appropriate content. The upcoming discussion themes range from Understanding Bias and Discrimination (topics include stereotypes, prejudice, discrimination, inequality, bullying, and injustice) to Confronting Challenges and Bias (topics include bullying and teasing, being an ally, being brave, standing up to prejudice, standing up to inequality, making a difference in school, and exploring social change).
These are exciting, thought provoking, and essential classroom discussions/experiences happening in CVUSD. We will continue to provide you, our families, with complementary tools to extend the discussions at home.
We truly appreciate your continued partnership, and we know we can’t be a healthy, safe, welcoming, and inclusive community without you!"
